Fixes a small bug which stopped windows from shutting down correctly, plus other minor changes.

First Public beta released

The first public beta release of nicmeter is out and can be found in the download section, go get it while its hot.

Almost At beta release

OK, first public beta is almost complete. got a few more things to add and a few things to fix, give it a few days and it'll be all done. Screenshots section will be updated soon. Current functions are:

• Fully Customizable ticker graph


• Alpha Blending support


• Always on-top support

• Taskbar icon that shows network activity


• Complete bandwidth usage logging of every network device (each device is logged separately)

Welcome to NicMeter.com the official website for the freeware utility NicMeter. NicMeter is a handy little tool that allows you to monitor and log all network usage on all of your network interface cards. This is very makes it very useful if you want to record how much bandwidth you are using, view the current connection status set alerts and notifications based on network usage. The main reason for NicMeters creation was that there where no good quality freeware utititys that did the job, there where a few good shareware ones like DUMeter,but I don’t really think it cuts the mustard for the money. The first release of NicMeter should be avalible in a few days, so come back soon.
